2017 Top Safety Pick+ Award from the IIHS

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety noted that the new A4 made top marks in every major crash category tested, qualifying it for the Top Safety Pick title. Forward collision alert, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go traffic jam assist, and automatic braking technology combines to earn the A4 a mark of Superior for crash prevention. 2017 Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Award

Kelley Blue Books has been a car industry bible for decades, and their words carry a lot of weight. So when they named the 2017 Audi A4 as the Best Buy in the Luxury Car category, it certainly made us ecstatic. These annual awards recognize the top vehicle choices for the United States market. In awarding this title, Kelley Blue Book cited a stout drivetrain with class-leading horsepower and exceptional all-wheel drive capabilities. They noted the technological advancements in the interior, including the redesigned infotainment system with Apple CarPlay support and Google Android Auto integration as well as the Audi virtual cockpit. The numerous optional versions of the A4 such as the A4 allroad and A4 ultra were also singled out, as it allows the platform to provided one of the most varied offering of any luxury model.

What Car? Car of the Year for 2016

The British answer to magazines like Motor Trend, Automobile, and Road & Track, What Car? uses similar methodologies, evaluating performance on test tracks, different road types, and real-world fuel efficiency. In the end, the new A4 helped Audi earn its third Car of the Year Award in the last decade.
